The staff was exceptionally kind and superbly friendly and everything was perfect. Location: the hotel was adjacent to tourist areas and the train station and historic gardens and lots of restaurants and Morinbo's excellent restaurants. Trattoria Tamaya set just 900 feet away from the property, had a Japanese cuisine.

Check-in can be a waiting game. Our room wasn't ready even after arriving just an hour before the scheduled time. Road noise can be noticeable, which detracts from overall relaxation.

I woudl have hoped for some complimentary snacks or something special since i obviously deserve it. This place is way overrated, i thought kanazawa deserved better.

Couples should consider this gem
The room was super clean, and we enjoyed the public bath with a nice view over part of a castle park. The Japanese breakfast buffet? One of the best we've had, especially the local flavors like the broth.
It was a bit pricey, but still worth every yen.

Lovely Stay with Room for Improvement
Had a pleasant solo trip! The hotel maintained a warm ambiance, and I appreciated thevery comfy and tidy room. The breakfast offered local flavors, but the dining experience could improve. Be sure to arrive early for breakfast as they strictly enforce the closing time.
